The igloohome Padlock 2 is the toughest smart padlock in the world — certified against 7 MIL-STD 810H military-grade reliability tests covering rain, temperature shock, high and low temperature, drop impact, salt fog corrosion, and humidity. It has been tested to 150,000 locking cycles, equivalent to over 10 years of heavy daily use, and survived 26 drops from 1 metre across 100 units with full functionality intact. The zinc alloy and stainless steel body carries a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance, while the hardened, chrome-plated steel shackle withstands 15kN of cutting force, 5kN of pulling force and 100Nm of twisting force. Rated IPX7 waterproof and operational from -20°C to 50°C, the Padlock 2 is built for outdoor gates, garden sheds, self-storage units, roller shutters, bike racks and anywhere a conventional padlock would fail.

Access is managed through two methods — PIN code and Bluetooth key via the igloohome app — both powered by igloohome's proprietary algoPIN™ technology. This means valid PIN codes can be generated and sent to anyone remotely without an internet connection at the lock. Issue one-time codes for a single visit, scheduled duration codes for a specific date range, recurring codes for regular access, or permanent codes for trusted users. Guests never need to download an app — just receive a code and key it in. The backlit keypad makes nighttime entry easy, and a decoy PIN code feature lets you type random digits around your real code to keep it private from onlookers. For Airbnb hosts, the lock syncs directly with your listing calendar to auto-generate guest PIN codes for each booking.

Built-in intelligence keeps the Padlock 2 secure and low-maintenance. Auto-lock engages the moment the shackle is fastened. Security lockout disables keypad access after repeated wrong entries, and a relock reminder alert prompts you if the padlock has been left open too long. The audit trail stores up to 300 activity logs, viewable in the igloohome app. Power comes from a rechargeable lithium battery rated for up to 9 months and 8,000 unlocks per charge — charging fully via USB-C in just one hour. A USB-C power bank can also be used as emergency power if the battery runs flat. Designed in Singapore, made in China.
