Aqara U500 Smart Gate Lock

The Aqara Smart Gate Lock U500 is a smart lock built specifically for iron gates, delivering dual-side security, inside and out. Both sides of the gate carry a fingerprint reader and key cylinder, so you get convenient access from either side while eliminating the risk of someone reaching through the gate to unlock it. With a full metal frame, reinforced dual-hook bolts and a genuine through-lock cylinder, the U500 is engineered to withstand prying and forced entry for long-term peace of mind.

Open the gate your way. Add a home key to Apple Wallet and tap to unlock with your iPhone or Apple Watch — it even works when your iPhone is out of battery or offline, and access can be shared remotely through the Apple Home app. The high-resolution 160 × 160 fingerprint sensor recognises your print instantly and stores up to 50 fingerprints, with all access data kept locally and AES-encrypted. You can also enter via the keypad password, an NFC card, the Aqara Home app, or the supplied mechanical keys. Built on Matter over Thread and the new Aliro standard, the U500 works with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant.

Power is fuss-free: 4 AA batteries last up to 7 months and are easily replaced, with a low-battery warning and a USB-C emergency charging port for power-bank top-ups. A built-in gyro sensor enables Auto-Lock on Close with no extra contact sensor, while Night Latch and Do Not Disturb modes add control. The One Tap, Dual Unlock feature pairs the gate with another Aqara lock to open both at once, a dedicated doorbell button saves buying a separate chime, and integration with the Aqara Doorbell Camera Hub G410 lets you see and unlock from Apple Home. Rated IP65 (outer panel) and IP54 (inner panel), the U500 holds up to dust, splashes and heavy rain.
