Falcon Fire Resistant Cabinet – FRC4

The Falcon Fire Resistant Cabinet FRC4 is the flagship of the FRC range — a 4-drawer fire-resistant filing cabinet built for offices, legal firms, financial institutions, and businesses that maintain large volumes of critical documents and cannot afford to lose them to fire. Certified to JIS S 1037:1981 at 1,000°C for a full hour — with additional VdS and UL certifications — the FRC4 is independently verified to maintain internal temperatures below 180°C throughout a severe fire, ensuring every document across all four drawers remains intact and readable.

Each of the FRC4's four drawers is independently insulated as its own separate fire compartment — the most comprehensive individual compartment protection in the range. Tongue and groove double heat sealing on every drawer front prevents hot gases and flames from entering between the body and drawers, while Fire Swell Substance passive protection expands in response to heat, further extending the cabinet's fire resistance beyond standard test conditions. The drop-tested plinth resists impact and drop from 20 feet during building collapse — keeping the cabinet intact even when a structure fails around it. Heavy duty metal railing with super heavy duty caster and ball bearing mechanism enables each of the four drawers to be pulled out to 90% of its depth with smooth, noise-reduced operation — each supporting up to 80kg of uniform distributed load, built for the heaviest filing demands.

The FRC4 offers two locking configurations: individual locking with a dedicated key cylinder lock per drawer plus a central lock — giving each user or department control over their own drawer independently — or central locking with a single key controlling all four drawers through the central lock. Both configurations are upgradable to a UL-listed digital lock for electronic access management. Available in Beige, Light Grey, and Dark Grey to harmonise with office furniture and décor.
