The Stanley D51 is a smart lever lock built around a simple idea: the fingerprint reader lives in the handle, so unlocking happens the moment you grip the door — no stopping to scan a separate panel. The exterior panel houses a touch keypad, fingerprint sensor, and card reader in a clean Matte Black aluminium alloy body, while the interior features a night latch knob and safe handle for secure one-touch exit. It runs a C-grade anti-theft cylinder at a 60mm backset and connects via built-in WiFi — no hub required. Stanley has been in the hardware business since 1843, and that heritage carries real weight when it's stamped on a lock body.

Five ways to unlock from outside: fingerprint (up to 100 users), PIN password (up to 99 user codes), card (up to 100), mechanical key, and remote app unlock. Inside unlocking is handled by the lever handle — no keypad needed. A standout feature is passage mode, which keeps the latch retracted for free in-and-out traffic during the day — useful for offices, shops, or busy households — then switch back to secure mode when needed. The night latch knob on the inside adds an extra layer of physical security when you're home.

Power comes from AA alkaline batteries — straightforward to replace and widely available — with a low battery alert before they run out and a Type-C emergency port if they do. The app gives you remote lock and unlock, real-time push notifications on every door event, and a full activity log. Security features include an anti-prying alarm and automatic lockout after consecutive failed attempts, with instant notification to your phone.
