Meet the Philips DDL902-MFVP-11HWS, a palm vein smart door lock from the Philips 9000 series that puts touch-free entry and full-view monitoring on your doorstep. Palm vein recognition reads the vein pattern beneath your skin using near-infrared light, delivering fast, hygienic unlocking that isn't fooled by shallow or dry fingerprints. Paired with 3D face unlock, the lock wakes on radar and recognises you from up to a metre away, so the door is ready before you are.

Security comes from every angle thanks to a triple-camera design. Two front cameras stitch a wide view of visitors and parcels, a rear camera lets you check indoors, and four infrared lights support clearer footage in low light. When someone rings, the visual door viewer pushes an alert to the Home Access app for two-way voice and a live look at your doorstep, while smart dynamic snapshots capture anyone lingering nearby. A fully automatic mortise retracts the latch the moment you're recognised and re-locks the instant the door closes.

Everyday living is effortless with six unlocking methods — palm vein, face, fingerprint, PIN code, key tag and mechanical key — suiting everyone from children to grandparents. The indoor 4.7-inch IPS display replaces the old peephole, and magnetic charging means a quick snap-on top-up keeps the 5000mAh battery going. Supplied by Locks N More, an authorised Philips dealer.
