The igloohome Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey is the world's slimmest smart deadbolt — just 17mm thin on the front panel — and it earns its place above your door handle without drawing attention to itself. Three access methods cover all the bases: PIN code, Bluetooth key via the igloohome app, and physical key (4 keys included). What makes it genuinely different is algoPIN™ technology — igloohome's proprietary system that generates valid PIN codes remotely without needing an internet connection at the lock. You can send a time-sensitive PIN to a guest from anywhere in the world, and the lock will accept it the moment they key it in, even completely offline.

PIN codes are highly flexible — set them as one-time, duration-based, recurring or permanent depending on who needs access and for how long. Guests never need to download an app; just send the code via WhatsApp or SMS. For Airbnb hosts, the Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey syncs directly with your Airbnb listing calendar to auto-generate PIN codes for each booking — no manual coordination needed. The igloohome app activity log records every entry with date and time stamps, giving you full visibility over who comes and goes. Bluetooth key unlock logs update in real-time; PIN logs sync when the app is in Bluetooth range.

Security features are comprehensive without being complicated. Auto relock re-engages the deadbolt automatically so the door is never accidentally left unsecured. A masking security code lets you type random digits before or after your real PIN to keep it private from onlookers. The keypad locks out after repeated wrong attempts, and passage mode lets you temporarily disable auto relock for movers or events. Rated IP65 and certified to ANSI Grade 2 deadbolt standards, it runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries for up to a year. A 9V emergency jumpstart port means a flat battery never locks you out.
