The Falcon Fire Resistant Cabinet FRC2 is a 2-drawer fire-resistant filing cabinet built for offices and businesses that need to protect paper documents, files, and records against fire in a storage format that integrates naturally into a working environment. Tested and certified to JIS S 1037:1981 at 1,000°C for one full hour — with additional VdS and UL certifications — the FRC2 is independently verified to keep internal temperatures below 180°C throughout the test, ensuring paper documents remain intact and readable after a severe fire.

The FRC2's fire resistance is built into every layer of its construction. Tongue and groove double heat sealing between the body and each drawer front prevents hot gases and flames from entering the cabinet, while individual compartment insulation separates each drawer independently — so if one drawer is compromised in a fire, the others remain protected. Fire Swell Substance acts as a passive fire protection layer that expands in the event of heat exposure, further extending fire resistance beyond the standard test conditions. The plinth is designed to resist impact and drop from 20 feet during building collapse, keeping the cabinet intact even when a structure fails around it. For document retrieval, the heavy duty metal railing with super heavy duty castor and ball bearing mechanism allows each drawer to be pulled out 90% of its depth with smooth, noise-reduced operation — and each drawer handles up to 80kg of uniform load.

Access is available in two configurations: individual locking with a key cylinder lock per drawer plus a central lock, or central locking with a single key controlling the central lock across both drawers. Both configurations are upgradable to a UL-listed digital lock for electronic access management. Available in Beige, Light Grey, and Dark Grey to harmonise with office furniture and décor.
