The EZVIZ DL03 is a smart rim lock that keeps it simple: surface-mount it on your existing door, connect it to your home WiFi, and you have keyless smart access — no drilling, no professional installation, no hub to buy. The aluminium and plastic front panel measures 154mm × 61mm × 18mm and mounts cleanly onto virtually any standard door, making it the lowest-friction way to upgrade from a traditional lock. It connects directly via 2.4GHz WiFi with no additional hardware required.

Three ways to unlock: PIN password (6–10 digits with virtual anti-peeping code support), proximity card (up to 50 cards), and remote app unlock via the EZVIZ app. Temporary codes valid up to one year let you grant timed access to guests, delivery personnel, or short-term tenants without handing over your main credentials — and revoke them just as easily. After 5 failed attempts within 5 minutes the lock enters a 3-minute automatic lockout, and an anti-tamper alarm fires loudly if anyone tries to forcibly remove the unit from the door.

Two features that matter more than most realise: the DL03 auto-locks the moment your door closes by continuously monitoring its own latch status, and sends a door-left-open alert if the door is left ajar — so you never have to wonder whether you locked up. Power comes from 4 × AA alkaline batteries with a low-battery warning well before they run out, and a Type-C emergency port gets you back in if they do. Pair it with a compatible EZVIZ camera and the lock auto-triggers a video recording every time the door opens — a complete entry log with footage, no separate security system needed.
