The EZVIZ DL03 Pro is a smart rim lock — which means it surface-mounts directly onto your existing door without any drilling into the frame or cutting a mortise. If you rent, live in a property where you can't modify the door, or simply want keyless access without a full lock replacement, the DL03 Pro is the straightforward answer. The aluminium and plastic front panel measures a compact 154mm × 61mm × 18mm, comes with a built-in electric doorbell, and connects directly to your home's 2.4GHz WiFi — no bridge, no hub, no extra purchase required.

Four ways to unlock: fingerprint (up to 50 prints, stored locally on the device), PIN password (6–10 digits with virtual anti-peeping code support), proximity card (2 included, up to 50 cards total), and remote app unlock via the EZVIZ app. Temporary codes valid up to one year let you grant timed access to guests, tenants, or service personnel without sharing your main credentials. After 5 failed unlock attempts within 5 minutes, the lock triggers a 3-minute automatic lockout and alerts you immediately via app. An anti-tamper alarm fires if anyone tries to forcibly remove the unit from the door.

Two features most locks skip entirely: the DL03 Pro auto-locks the moment your door closes by monitoring its own latch status — no more second-guessing whether you locked up. It also sends a door-left-open alert if the door is left ajar. Power comes from 4 × AA alkaline batteries with a low-battery warning well before they run out, and an emergency external USB port gets you back in if they do. Pair it with a compatible EZVIZ camera and the lock can auto-trigger a recording every time the door opens — instant visibility over who comes and goes, without a separate security system.
